When you come across something inspiring in Feed — like a post from a friend raising money for a good cause, or a photo of a new design from your favorite brand — you can now quickly share that post with your friends and followers as a sticker in your story see.
How to share feed posts to Instagram Stories
To share feed posts to stories:
Tap the paper airplane button below the post (like sending a direct message)
Then, in the following menu, you will see an option to create a story with this post.
Tap it to view the feed post as a sticker with a custom background, ready to share with your story. You can move, resize, or rotate the photo or video. You can also use drawing tools or add text and stickers.
Each post shared in a story includes a link back to the original post and the original creator’s username.
Only posts from public Instagram accounts can be shared to Stories. If you have a public account and want to prevent others from sharing your posts in Stories, you can do this in Instagram’s settings.
