Entertaining Fact: YouTube is the second most visited website in the world behind Google – YouTube’s parent company.
Funny suggestion: your brand should be present there.
The opportunity to reach your audience on YouTube is huge. It is the most popular social platform among US adults, and nearly 75% of Americans use the social video site, compared to 69% who use Facebook.
More than half of these users visit YouTube every day. Wouldn’t it be nice if they could see your content while they were there?

Step 2: Create a YouTube Account
Your Google Account automatically sets you up for a personal YouTube account. But to use YouTube for your business, you should set up a brand account.
Just go to your YouTube account page, click on create channel and then enter a name for your brand account. You’re in!
When creating a YouTube brand account, you can grant multiple people administrator access and customize the name and appearance of your brand.
Another cool thing about branding accounts: They allow you to access YouTube Analytics, which offers super helpful insights into who your videos are and what content is popular. (Learn more in our post about using YouTube for marketing purposes.)
When filling out this information, use powerful keywords that will help your account appear in searches.
Keywords can cover the topics of your channel, your industry, questions that can answer your content, or featured products.
Under Branding, you have the ability to upload your channel images and symbols to give your channel a unique look. One that ideally fits your entire brand and visually connects this YouTube account with your other social media platforms and web presence.
